Bulbs were bright enough for other applications I am sure. I am trying to find a suitable replacement for 50 watt halogen bulbs in a pilot car light bar. These are not quite right for my application but may well be fine for yours. I will use them for emergency replacements once I find the ideal halogen bulb replacements
