S25 12 sit side firing great for RV

These side firing LEDs fit the standard 1006 sockets in the RV ceiling. I have tried other brands but these are plenty bright. Also, the warm color is great for a more casual look. I love them and it enabled me to use the existing fixture vs having to replace everything.

S25 12smt Side Firing LED

I purchased 5 of these back in October 2010. I replaced our Motor Homes standard 12volt lights Bulbs (Base:1156, which require 18 watts each) with the 90 degrees offset Warm White LED Bulbs. Light output is indeed warm and not the harsh light LEDs are known for. We camp a lot off the grid and use solar panels and Batterys so at 2.69 Watt ea. these little LED gems are power savers. 7 LED bulbs = One standard bulb for equivalent power consumption. A bit pricy but they never burn out and no more dead batteries if a light gets left on, worth the extra cost if it helps to save a $300 battery deep cycle battery.....

A great light for all RVs

I dry camp in my pop-up, but also require a CPAP machine on 12vdc to get through the night.
The four standard 1156 automotive bulbs in my camper would draw about 9 amps/H and they gave off the sickly incandesant yellow light and if they were on for longer than 1 hour/ nite I would run out of power for my CPAP in as little as 2 1/2 nites. I put in two S25 90 deg side fire leds in super white, but they made the cabin look like a hospital, so I also put in two S25 90 deg side fire in warm white and the light has the appearance of morning sun light without any blinding glare or visual shadows. PLUS the best part is: all four of them together draw less than 1 amp/H. For a test I left all the lights on all night and used my CPAP for 8 hours/ nite for 3 1/2 nites before the LVDC cut me off. This was without recharging the Battery. Excellent lights. I would recommend them to everyone.

We ordered a number of lights for our boat, and these gave the best side lighting of the bunch. The color is much better than the tower led lights that we tried.

Good product it fits in fixture with no problems

Put one of these LED side firing lights in two of the fixtures in a truck camper. My wife likes to read before turning out the lights for the night and this thing works! I can still start the generator in the morning from the house battery, even if we have been 3-4 nights without a hookup.
