LED Flasher compatible Up to max 65W power to drive the led or incandescent light bulbs. The max wattage is calculated that only one side will be lit so 42W plus the pilot bulb 3.7W is about 45.7W rated and the maximum is up to 65W. This flasher will decode hyper flashing due to LED bulbs. The led flasher has 4 terminals. The first terminal is for constant power the battery. The second terminal is for the ignition switch to enable and disable the flasher. The third terminal is for the pilot dashboard indicator light. The 4th terminal connect to your turn signal level common terminal. The turn signal level is called the winker switch. Please be careful when you connect a LED turn signal bulb that you must connect the anode of the LED to the terminal for the turn signal lever. The other terminal for the turn signal level goes the anode of the other turn signal lamp. Then the cathode of the LED turn signal to ground. If the LED is non polarized or a incandescent bulb you do not have to worry about a polarized light bulb. The flashers minimum and maximum duty cycle is from 30% to 70% or 85+-10 c/m. The duty cycle means the time the flasher is lighting the turn signal light to the time the flasher is not lighting the turn signal light. The last terminal connects to the common terminal for your turn signal lever. If you apply the lever in one direction the flasher will illumination that direction turn signal light. When you move the turn signal lever to the other direction the other turn signal bulb will light up. When you leave the turn signal lever in the middle position the both turn signal bulbs are off. The relay blinker operating voltage is from 8 volts to 16 volts DC. The min and max load can range from 1 watt to 65 watts. Please check with your dealer. No additional modifications are required. It is easier to install the led compatible flasher but sometimes you do not have a choice and can install the led load equalizers. The 42 Watts is a lot of led lighting so this led compatible flasher can flash larger led loads up to 42 Watts per side. The flasher is CE and Rohs listed.
