BA15D LED Headlight dual filament. Has both a low beam and high beam. The low beam is shielded to keep to a minimum glare for oncoming vehicles. Up to 1700 Lumen output for the low beam. Up to 3400 Lumen for the high beam. Uses aproximately 1.50A@6V for low or high beam. Only the low beam led's illuminate on both side of the bulb for low beam. All led's on both sides light for the high beam. The product uses CSP led's for high power, high lumen output. The CSP led's model the original incandescent filament for the best focused light output compared to a incandescent headlight lamp. The headlight will work in both positive ground chassis and negative ground chassis. Due to led headlights using 90% less energy that a incandescent bulb load equalizers may be required if the headlights blink or do not change from low beam to high beam. Please see product 65832. The bayonets are located on the top and bottom of the led bulb. The bulb is made of aircraft aluminum to keep the led's cooler so they last a longer time. The bayonets are even, the diameter of the base is 15mm. There are two contacts on the bottom one for low beam and the other contact for high beam. Since led headlights use 90% less power your generator or alternator has to work less to keep the lights on. Available in White 6000K, Daylight White 4500K and Warm White 3000K. The White 6000K is brighter by about 5% than the Daylight White or the Warm White. The Warm White has the color that best matches the color of a incandescent bulb for that original vintage look.
