When LEDLight says this is their brightest 3156-3157 type LED they are definitely correct.
I used Super White 3156 LEDs for Backup Lights; Red 3157 LEDs for Stop/Tail/Directional lights; and Amber 3157 LEDs for Parking/Directional/DRLs. These are on a 1999 Firebird V-6.
The backup lamps have a nice bright look with these LEDs but definitely bluer/colder in color than the original 3155 bulbs. This highlights a common drawback on all Super White LEDs. They are a bluer/colder color than incandescent bulbs. It would be better for some applications to have a Warm White LED available.
The Parking/Directional/DRLs are nice in appearance with a paler color than the original 3157NA bulbs, and a sparkle-ly center. They are definitely not as bright as 3157 type bulbs but I decided to stay with them because of the nice appearance
The cavernous tail lamps on the 1999 Firebird are a particular challenge. The large tail lamp housing has a honey-comb lense and only fair reflector qualities. Each lamp has 2 3157s for Stop/Tail/Directional lights and 1 194 for an outer Tail Light. I tried several different T25 type red LEDs for the Stop/Tail/Directional lights. These 85643 LEDs were the only ones that came close. These filled the lamp OK and look nice but are not as bright as the original 3157 bulbs. FYI I also tried a Super White version to see if it would be any brighter. It was not and made the light a paler color.
My conclusion is that LED replacements are less than perfect for 3156-3157 T25 applications as they are not as bright as they original bulbs. On the other hand, there are good LED choices that improve the appearance significantly for 194-921 T10-T15 uses

Yes
This light is bright, but I dont think it is as bright as the incd. Its close tho and should be just fine in most applications. Just make sure you ordr the right color.
