In the dark or dim circumstances, this LED sensor light will turn on automatically if someone moves within its sensitive area, and will keep on lighting for 30~60 seconds after the movement stops. not 4 me by night owl from alaska on 2/26/2011 Recommends it to Friends: Yes Works as advertised. But not for me. It will not work inside a clear covered light fixture, or any covered light fixture. Great Hall Light by John01 from Massachusetts on 4/12/2010 Recommends it to Friends: Yes We have a hallway wall-mount down light which is in a dark area of the hall. We used to keep a 7 watt incandescent lamp on at that point all of the time, but after we found this motion dector LED lamp we now save money and it works great.
