Very bright - which is why I chose it. I use it in the cargo area of a 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It just BARELY fits because its quite thick. The thickness prevents it from rotating as much as Id like (to aim the light) but it is bright with a wide beam so it works fine.

Installed these in Perko courtesy lights on the back deck of a Cabo Yacht. Brighter than the stock bulbs. The blue light gets plenty of attention at the dock AND offshore

Easy changeout of course. I also bought a new cover for the old yellow plastic that covered the old light. IT was barely brighter with the LED bulb. I thought it would be a lot more. But its worth doing, that old dome light is hot as hell. Cool now!
