When replacing the alternator indicator warning for Triumph Spitfire, please make sure to add a load equalizer. When replacing with LED or the alternator will not charge the battery please make sure to add the load equalizer in parallel with the led lamp. Operates negative ground. The visionary engineers who designed the MGA must have thought that someday there would be a bulb bright enough to illuminate their oddly placed dashboard turn signal indicator. THIS IS THAT BULB!
The 6000K bulb lights the green jewel even in daylight. Perfect.

Great gauge lights for Austin Healey Sprite

I purchased these lights to upgrade the gauge lights in my 62 Austin Healey Sprite. At the time I purchased them, no positive ground LEDs were available so I retrofitted some e10 sockets that I could swap the polarity on. The difference is amazing, I can see the gauges clearly at night and the white color compliments the style well. I also tried a green one in the turn signal jewel, however it was blindingly bright at night time so I swapped it back to stock.

This bulb served my purposes perfectly. I especially liked the fact that it puts its light straight forward--which is exactly what I needed. The only problem I had was that one of the bulbs came apart during installation or I would have rated it 5 stars.
