1142 LED Miniature Bulb for positive or negative vehicles. Up to 500 Lumen output. Single filament C-6 design. BA15D base has two contacts and the bayonets are parallel to each other. Long life up to 30,000 hours. These LEDs are optically aligned so that the leds output the maximum light to the reflector and lens. This bulb is dimmable using a variable voltage supply. Since the bulb is dim-able works good when the voltage is not a peak voltage of 6 volts and will stay lit dimmer as the voltage goes down. For old vintage and classic cars this is a simple D.I.Y. do it yourself job. Please disconnect power, remove old bulb and insert new bulb. Comparable to a 25 to 35 Watt incandescent light bulb.
