Gx24 to e26 converter is common base so it fits all GX24Q sockets. Save time and money by using this adapter instead of replacing the fixture. Very low profile. The main square part is 15 mm long. Compatible with GX24Q-1, GX24Q-2, Gx24Q-3, GX24Q-4. Can I use a GX24 base plug into the existing G24 fitting? The answer is no. Made of flame retardant PBT and copper materials. This converter works with Edison Medium base E26 based male bulbs rated up to 544 watts. The converter can handle up to 2 amps @ 277 VAC. You will need to BYPASS or remove the BALLAST. Please measure middle post BEFORE buying this converter it should be 15 mm or .59 inches or approximately 9/16 inch. Please contact a certified electrician to disable or bypass or remove the ballast.
