Bought an amber set of these for the clear side turn signals on my 99 Impreza RS. I struggled for a long time to find a sufficiently bright enough LED that fit in those housings, as there is not a lot of height available. These are only slightly taller than an incandescent 194 bulb and fit perfectly. They are quite bright and lit up the reflectors/lenses beautifully. I liked them so much, I bought another pair for my clear front corner markers, where theyre about as bright as daytime running lamps (at least with my housings).
