Great replacement for running lights

I replaced the running lights on my Gen 2 Prius with these lights. I used amber on the fronts and red for the tail lights. They look great and provide really nice illumination. Definitely on par with the original incandescent bulbs. I was a little concerned with "hot spots" of brighter & dimmer areas, but I dont notice it from these bulbs. (You can still see the individual LEDs, but they each have a wide enough beam to give good all-around coverage.) I also found out that these have two different illumination voltages. My car sends slightly lower voltage to the bulbs when you unlock the doors, versus normal 12V "lights on" operation. With the lower voltage operation, these bulbs only illuminate the side LEDs, leaving the forward firing ones to illuminate during 12V operation. Nice surprise and a nice touch!

Nice Sparkling Marker Lamps

Yes
These LEDs did a nice job in the side marker lamps on my 1999 Firebird. The overall marker lights are not as bright as the original 194 bulbs but the center sparkles brightly, even in daylight, and looks real cool.
