Yes
They are a bit on the expensive side but when you consider that they wont burn out and use a fraction of what an incandescent lamp with the same light output requires its no contest.
I help out with the signaling system on a live steam railroad and we have signals for each of our fifty blocks to avoid trains running into each other. We have three lights, red, green and yellow, for each signal, currently using incandescent lamps with gel filters. All together they require quite a bit of power.

Yes
After trying several different T10 bulbs, including the 25 and 15 led versions, I have found the 1 Watt and now 1.5 Watt bulbs to be the brightest and whitest. I use combinations of these two and also the 1 Watt with 3 side firing LEDs, in my vehicle in different places. Although they are a little more expensive than most of the others, in my opinion, they provide the best light and color (White Only, of all I have tried.

Yes
I ordered the white 1 Watt LEDs to replace my tag lights and, WOW! the pure white color on the tag looks amazing. and since the light is offset slightly, their isnt that much "light pollution" on the tailgate. Will do the interior lights next. But 3 months after i write this they have both stopped working. unsure why. I guess ill have to order another set. (Updated on 9/1/2010.)
