Excellent little bulb ...

This is an excellent little lamp ideal for bedside use when you dont want a lot of blinding light. I purchased one of these back in November of 2007 and remain very happy with it. As my current compact fluorescent products fail, I will be replacing them with more of these. Bought these bulbs and placed them in Bathroom vanity light. Bulbs bought were the white(color) only thing about these bulbs is the color they throw off a bluish tint when first enter room but eyes adjust and they are as bight as four 25watt bulbs.

This light replaces a cool white LED E27 base that has been on continually (with exceptions of rare temporary power outages) since about three years ago. The semi rural subdivision I live in has no street lights. Im really a-ok with that. I like night to be dark and the stars easily seen. My original LED bulb still works perfectly, but there were less choices in LED lighting back when it was purchased. This time I got a cool white bulb with a frosted globe. They are much cheaper now.
I use the cool white color with the blueish tint. For my single porch light, I feel that the cool whites are less glaring. They provide all of the light needed to see everything that needs to be seen without the bulb itself being blinding.

Im using this as a stove hood light. I wish it were a bit brighter, but it works. If I want to read something on a package I have to turn the kitchen light on and wish I didnt have to.
