side firing light

Bought the warm white 36 led side firing lights. Warm white isnt as warm as an incandescent, but is much easier on my eyes than the white. A single unit replaced a 60w bulb in the hall, on the front porch. I would rate them equivalent to a 40w incandescent. Two of them were used in a bedroom fixture, again replacing 60w bulbs. While the light level is noticibly lower, it is still adequate. Once it is screwed into the socket there is only 90 degrees of rotation available to have the light pointing downward.

Installed these in recessed hallway light boxes; they throw perfect lighting in a long hallway from bedrooms to living area of house. Love em!

I put two of these in enclosed ceiling fixtures in the hallway. They make more light than the 60 watt incandescent bulbs they replaced.
