5 out of 5 stars Great bulb, great color
by James from Stockton on 7/31/2010

I bought 4 of the amber yellow to enhance my back patio, which already has a yellow CFL. I really like the color as it is a nice color. It is as pictured. I didnt want a white color as 2 bulbs point towards 2 different neighbors. They are in a motion detector fixture and work great. Much better than the incandescent PAR30 @ 65W. The CFL was not an option as they take time to warm up. Very satisfied.

3 out of 5 stars Beautifully inconsistent
by Doug from Denver on 1/1/2013
Recommends it to Friends: No
While you can expect some variation in LEDs, I have found this light to be very inconsistent in color and performance. Some are brighter than others, and some come on immediately bright, and some eventually get there. I would suggest the engineers of this bulb review the specifications and perform a Gauge R&R analysis so customers like myself who buy for consistency are not disappointed. I believe this will be my last purchase due to this engineering or manufacturing oversight. I would have expected more quality control from a company who charges a hefty price for what is becoming a much more competitive commodity. The light is beautifully inconsistent. Thanks, Doug in Denver
