Great for some places in the house by Cliff from Redwood City, CA on 2/21/2010 Recommends it to Friends: Yes The angle of this bulb is great. It actually looks like a flood light and not a spot light. I like the color from the warm white (though its not perfect). If only it was brighter. 420 lumens spread out across a wide angle from the ceiling makes it a bit dim for my standards. There are certainly some places in the house Im okay with a little less light -- hallways, bathrooms, etc. -- so I plan to buy a few more of this bulb for those places.
