Great Light for Halogen Replacement

Im using the G4-16LED (# 34534) light for an experiment on green system. This light is comparable to my 5w halogen it replaces although it claims to be 3w equivalent (the remaining 2w difference doesnt really make a difference in group placement). It also uses fraction of the power consumption of the halogen. The cool white will take some time to get used to but works great to highlight glass cabinets, etc. For general use, stick with the warm white.
I am using unfiltered 12V DC source and it works just fine!
