We had just finished constructing a house and had about 40 pot lights throughout. The pot lights had the screw type base. Costco had a program to buy LED lights with a G10 base. Normally priced at $13, on sale for $3. The local light stores couldnt help me out with a conversion kit and screw base LED lights for small pot lights were rare and expensive. This converter worked great for about 25 of our lights. The last 15 lights must have been a different style (although they looked the same) and this convertor was too long to allow the bulb to sit properly. I still used them, but the trim plate doesnt quite sit flush with the ceiling. You cant notice unless you are looking for it though, so good enough.
