Good overhead kitchen light

Yes
Our kitchen uses a single overhead light as well as a couple under counter lights. Although the warm white is less than the prior 60W, it works absolutely fine when the supplemental lights are on. Im saving $ on power and will eventually replace the others. The neat thing about these LED lights is I could light the whole house on solar and batteries.

There is much more side light than down light from this bulb so choosing the location is important. This bulb easily replaces a 60-100 watt bulb.

This is by far the best bulb that I have tried to date. This one really does seem to match incandesent equivalent.
I am using a single bulb in an outdoor post lamp and it is plenty bright enough.
Highly recommend this one

I tried a smaller bulb first but it was not bright enough. This bulb worked just great on my dusk to dawn lights outside my house. I am sure as time goes by this type of bulbs will get better all the time.
