I used these lights for pilot light to indicate when to check the oil on several generators. The RGB effect draws attention to it. Very reliable.

1.3 Watt LED bulb review

I bought several of these lights for use in a chandelier type fixture above our dining room table (total of 8 bulbs). These replaced 4 - 7 watt CFL bulbs and I feel these LED bulbs are at least 1/3 dimmer than the CFLs they replaced, maybe 1/2 as bright. I chose them for their compact size (without buying adapters, these are some of the smallest bulbs for the E27 socket). I only gave 3 stars because I really wish they were a little bit brighter. But I do think they are great for applications where you dont need a lot of light... just mood lighting or a night light. Actually, I use one of these in my refrigerator too as the 40 watt bulb that came with it was so hot it started to melt the liner of the fridge! One of these bulbs in my fridge is just adequate.
